...is a recently established pagan community based in north-west Ireland. The community follows an earth-based, eclectic pagan tradition, drawing on long-established rituals and newer paths. At the heart of our practice is respect for all life, pacificism and the need for balance. We look to the three ancient goddesses of Ireland, Brigid, Macha and the Morrigan for guidance and inspiration. In particular we believe in the need for a balance between spirituality and reason, between politics and the unknowable. The circle is female-led, but also believes in collective, non-hierarchical decision making. Men who are sympathetic to our belief system are very welcome to join. Our practice and our thought-processes are continually evolving and we encourage debate as well as new ideas about ritual and spirituality.
